Always check with a safe adult before sending a photo or video to someone. Once a photo or video is sent you lose control over what happens to it.
6. Video chats can be saved

Video chats and live-stream videos can be saved. Images and videos could be shared with other people. Have permission from a safe adult before chatting online.
7. It is okay to open attachments from people you don’t know

Attachments from people not on your contact list could contain viruses.
8. It is okay to answer someone who asks weird questions online

If someone starts asking weird questions stop messaging that person. Save the message. Talk to a safe adult about it.
9. If kids do something online that isn’t safe, they will get in trouble

We all make mistakes. Tell a safe adult about what happened. An adult’s job is to help keep kids safe.
10. If someone gets mad at you online, then you should do what they want

It is not okay for someone to get mad at you when you set your limits. People should respect your answer. Don’t respond and log off. Save the message. Talk to a safe adult about what happened.
